Unfortunately, there is any number of reasons a tree might need to be removed. No one loves trees more than we do, however we recognize, as you do, that sometimes tree removal is necessary. The reasons span from being a danger to your property to causing significant issues in your landscape, such as excessive shade. Further, illnesses may impact a tree’s aesthetics and even health causing it to look ugly and prime for decay and eventual death. Although, on one hand we dislike cutting down a tree, we understand more than most that tree removal is a necessary action under certain circumstances. For property owners, it is paramount you keep tree limbs and branches off your roof and away from the sides of your property structures. Homeowners insurance will likely deny your claim if it is discovered a tree was touching your roof or the side of your home or building. During this phone call, we can also review with any specifics that may have not be discussed during the estimate visit and/or any other work, such as tree trimming, you may want done during our visit. As the tree removal job begins, we will either climb the tree or position a bucket truck near the base of the tree. Our tree removals always start from the top down, and dismantle the tree limb from limb. Each significant limb will be lowered safely to the ground for further cutting and disposal. As we move down the tree, we will reduce the trunk according so that near the end of the job all we will have left is the main trunk. At this point, we can cut the trunk down to a height per your specifications. If the stump is to be ground, we will cut the trunk down to near the surface of the ground. Otherwise, we will cut it to a height suitable for your purposes, such as for a carving or a tree stump planter. Almost all of your tree removals can be performed in one day or less, weather permitting. Lastly, we will clean and rake your yard of any small tree debris and leave your property as pristine as we found it.

Most tree removal customers opt to have the stumps removed, normally by grinding them below the ground. Tree stump removal can also be done, this requires a backhoe to dig the stump out of the ground as well as any substantial roots.
